Laura Graham’s solid grounding in Family Law and her long-standing focus on divorce mediation means she has a clear understanding of the shifting emotional terrain and intensity of every discussion between you and your spouse. To help you choose the best mediator for your needs, she offers free half-hour, in-person consultations to give you and your spouse the opportunity to try the process, get to know her, and decide if the chemistry and process are right for you.
Laura will gladly refer you to other mediators or lawyers in the area if you decide you’d like to shop around and compare providers. There are very few things that you can control in your divorce, but choosing the lawyer or mediator with whom you feel comfortable is one of the things you can control.
Laura has also worked behind the scenes in the field of real estate law, including purchase and sales and real estate closings, for many years. With Steven Graham’s retirement, her work in that field is now very much “up-front” and visible.
Laura Graham obtained her J.D. from UNC Law in Chapel Hill, NC. She began work in the field of civil litigation and contested divorce work before confining her practice to mediation in 1998.
Laura has devoted countless hours to her community as a volunteer and consultant for groups in transition.
Laura Graham was a founding member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, a member of the ACR, the NEACR, the MCFM, the ABA, MCLE, and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
